Flights to Sao Paulo
GRU · Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport
Sao Paulo Guarulhos is Brazil's largest airport, 25km northeast of the city and the main South American hub for long-haul traffic. South African Airways and LATAM run the GRU–JNB route — one of the only direct flights connecting Africa and South America. For South Africans it is the entry point to Rio de Janeiro, the Amazon and Iguazu Falls via onward Brazilian domestic connections; for Brazilian visitors it is the standard long-haul route to safari country.
